Premature Ventricular Contractions: Left Ventricular Summit
2020A 73 years-old male was referred for catheter ablation of left ventricular summit (LVS) arrhythmias. Typical LVS arrhythmias have a right bundle branch block configuration in lead V1 or a left bundle branch block configuration with early precordial transition (V3 or earlier). The axis is always inferior.

Papillary Premature Ventricular Contractions
2020Ablation of PVCs coming from the papillary muscle can be challenging. In addition to electroanatomical mapping, the use of intracardiac ultrasound can be very useful in these patients.

Premature Ventricular Contractions: Papillary Muscles
2020A 29 year-old male was noted with symptomatic high burden premature ventricular contractions (PVC) despite therapy with betablockers. An electrophysiology study was done. Activation map and pacemapping localized the PVC to the tip of the papillary muscle.

Frequent Premature Ventricular Contractions
Cardiology in Review, 2015Heart failure is common and is associated with significant morbidity and mortality. Identifying potentially modifiable risk factors for the development of ventricular dysfunction is important in both the prevention and the treatment of this condition.

Idiopathic Premature Ventricular Contraction Ablation
2020A young male patient is referred for catheter ablation of drug-refractory idiopathic PVCs. The ECG characteristics suggest a possible site of origin, which is confirmed with intracardiac mapping.

Frequent premature ventricular contractions.
Journal of insurance medicine (New York, N.Y.), 2005Premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) are considered normal in many circumstances but can act as markers to other cardiac disease such as cardiomyopathy and ischemic heart disease. This case is presented to illustrate frequent PVCs as a marker for serious heart disease.
