A novel method of molecular imprinting applied to the template cholesterol [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
A novel method is successfully tested for non-covalent imprinting. Conditions are used which practically exclude the formation of prepolymerization complexes. The template is cholesterol, and no so-called functional monomer is used.

Enhancing the Performance and Photostability of Perovskite Solar Cells with a Multifunctional Light‐Management Composite

open access: yesSmall Science, Volume 5, Issue 12, December 2025.
The glass substrate in perovskite solar cells (PSC) causes high reflection, transmits UV light, and conducts heat, accelerating degradation. A multifunctional pectin/PMMA–spirobifluorene composite with haze, UV absorption and downconversion, and heat dissipation is introduced.

Spatiotemporally Resolved Light Propagation in Transparent Wood

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 13, Issue 32, November 14, 2025.
Light propagation mechanism changes from diffusive regime in native, white and delignified wood to near ballistic in transparent wood. Abstract Transparent wood biocomposite (TW) is a sustainable optical material that combines high transmittance with mechanical strength but also exhibits pronounced haze. This haze limits applications where high optical
