Substrate‐Dependent Crosslinking by the Cytochrome P450 From Aminopyruvatide Biosynthesis

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Substitutions in the aminopyruvatide precursor peptide altered the C─C linkage formed from a YLY motif by the P450 ApyO to a N─C linkage in a WLY motif. Moreover, constitutional isomers crosslinked by C─C and C─O linkages were formed from YYY or YWY motifs. ABSTRACT Cytochrome P450s catalyze an array of reactions including crosslinking of aromatic side

Langues officielles versus droits linguistiques : l’un exclut-il l’autre ?

open access: yesDroit et Cultures, 2012
Several countries take for granted the fact that the choice of an official language is a State exclusive prerogative. This was confirmed by both the European Court of Human Rights and the U.N. Human Rights Committee on several occasions.

Sustainable Access to N‐Heterocycles: One‐Pot Cascade Synthesis of Pyrroles From Bio‐Derived Furans

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Highly dispersed platinum (Pt) clusters on Brønsted acid‐rich HY zeolite enable a one‐pot cascade conversion of bio‐derived furans and nitroarenes into pyrroles. Highly dispersed Pt sites ensure selective nitro hydrogenation, while Pt nanoparticles promote undesired over‐hydrogenation.

A Modular Synthesis of C5‐Sulfenyl Thiazoles via an Intermolecular Pummerer Rearrangement: An Underexplored Scaffold for Medicinal Chemistry

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Modular access to underexplored C5‐sulfenyl thiazoles via an intermolecular Pummerer rearrangement is reported. The methodology exhibits a broad functional group tolerance enabling the seamless design of trisubstituted thiazole cores bearing a sulfur handle for further elaboration.

The good use of NSAID: when, why and how

open access: yesPathos, 2019
Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are the first line treatment of acute or recurrent pain and often remain the prerogative of the primary care physician if not the patient himself on self-administration.
