Branching of periodic orbits in reversible hamiltonian systems [PDF]

open access: yesReal and complex singularities, 46-70, London Math. Soc. Lecture Note Ser., 380, Cambridge Univ. Press, Cambridge, 2010, 2010
This paper deals with the dynamics of time-reversible Hamiltonian vector fields with 2 and 3 degrees of freedom around an elliptic equilibrium point in presence of symplectic involutions. The main results discuss the existence of one-parameter families of reversible periodic solutions terminating at the equilibrium.

Search and Seizure of Journalistic Material: the Sing Tao Daily Case [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
AnalysisThe constitutional guarantee of a free press has been almost taken for granted by all in Hong Kong. In safeguarding press freedom, the protection of journalistic sources is of particular importance to ensure that the press can properly perform ...

Chiroferromagnetic Quantum Dots for Chiroptical Synapse (ChiropS)

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Chiroptical activity is enhanced by up to 0.003 in the g‐factor through the induction of ferromagnetism in quantum dots. A chiroptical neuromorphic synapse, composed of chiroferromagnetic quantum dots, generates different synaptic weights from multiple wavelengths and circularly polarized light.

Magneto‐Ionic Engineering of Antiferromagnetically RKKY‐Coupled Multilayers

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Artificial antiferromagnetically coupled multilayered heterostructures with tailored interlayer exchange interactions and perpendicular magnetic anisotropy hold great promise for applications such as magnetic random‐access memory, magnetic sensors, and spintronics.

Thermal Processing Creates Water‐Stable PEDOT:PSS Films for Bioelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 13, April 2, 2025.
Instead of using chemical cross–linkers, it is shown that PEDOT:PSS thin films for bioelectronics become water‐stable after a simple heat treatment. The heat treatment is compatible with a range of rigid and elastomeric substrates and films are stable in vivo for >20 days.
