Path integral approach to no-Coriolis approximation in heavy-ion collisions [PDF]

open access: yesPhys.Rev.C52:286,1995, 1995
We use the two time influence functional method of the path integral approach in order to reduce the dimension of the coupled-channels equations for heavy-ion reactions based on the no-Coriolis approximation. Our method is superior to other methods in that it easily enables us to study the cases where the initial spin of the colliding particle is not ...

Spin Caloritronics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
This is a brief overview of the state of the art of spin caloritronics, the science and technology of controlling heat currents by the electron spin degree of freedom (and vice versa).

Cluster states in nuclei as representations of a U(n+1) group [PDF]

open access: yesPhys.Rev. C61 (2000) 067305, 2000
We propose a description of cluster states in nuclei in terms of representations of unitary algebras U(n+1), where n is the number of space degrees of freedom. Within this framework, a variety of situations including both vibrational and rotational spectra, soft and rigid configurations, identical and non-identical constituents can be described.

KEBEBASAN PERS DALAM PERSPEKTIF PERADILAN PIDANA

open access: yesKomunika, 2015
Freedom of the press in the perspective of the criminal justice is the use of the provisions of the Criminal Code; it is not limitation or restraint on freedom of the press, because the provision was only a tool that is used for the testing of ...

Elasticity of Diametrically Compressed Microfabricated Woodpile Lattices

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Modulus–porosity relationship is derived for woodpile lattices with struts under diametrical compression. The formula presented here that Young's modulus is proportional to the square of the volume fraction E˜ρ2$E \sim \left(\rho\right)^{2}$ is shown to be consistent with computations and laboratory experiments on 3D‐printed samples.

Composite Spin Liquid in Correlated Topological Insulator - Spin Liquid without Spin-Charge Separation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper, we found a new type of insulator - composite spin liquid which can be regarded as a short range B-type topological spin-density-wave. Composite spin liquid is topological ordered state beyond the classification of traditional spin liquid states. The elementary excitations are the "composite electrons" with both spin degree of freedom and

Numerical Studies of Influencing Factors on the Homogeneity of the Powder Mixture during the Powder Spreading Process of Powder Bed Fusion–Laser Beam/Metal

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
AISI 304L stainless steel powder is mixed with silicon nitride (Si3N4) powder and processed by PBF‐LB/M, allowing partial retention of Si3N4. The numerical approach effectively predicts the Si3N4 powder homogeneity and N content distribution on the powder bed. Recent studies have focused on the alloying of nitrogen (N) in high‐alloy stainless steels by
