In this study, the interplay of dipolar dynamics and ionic charge transport in MOF compounds is investigated. Synthesizing the novel structure CFA‐25 with integrated freely rotating dipolar groups, local and macroscopic effects, including interactions with Cs cations are explored.

On the Existence of Localized Excitations in Nonlinear Hamiltonian Lattices [PDF]
We consider time-periodic nonlinear localized excitations (NLEs) on one-dimensional translationally invariant Hamiltonian lattices with arbitrary finite interaction range and arbitrary finite number of degrees of freedom per unit cell. We analyse a mapping of the Fourier coefficients of the NLE solution.

Representations and derivations of quasi *-algebras induced by {\em local modifications} of states [PDF]
The relationship between the GNS representations associated to states on a quasi *-algebra, which are {\em local modifications} of each other (in a sense which we will discuss) is examined. The role of local modifications on the spatiality of the corresponding induced derivations describing the dynamics of a given quantum system with infinite degrees ...

Some fundamental problems for an energy conserving adaptive resolution molecular dynamics scheme [PDF]
Adaptive resolution molecular dynamics (MD) schemes allow for changing the number of degrees of freedom on the fly and preserve the free exchange of particles between regions of different resolution. There are two main alternatives on how to design the algorithm to switch resolution using auxiliary ''switching'' functions; force based and potential ...

Neglecting the \u27Right on Which All Other Rights Depend\u27: Press Freedom in the International Human Rights Discourse [PDF]
Historically and philosophically, press freedom has closely been linked to the fight against tyranny and the advancement of human rights. But coverage of press freedom as a distinct human right is surprisingly absent from scholarship and the human rights
