A Counter Controllable High Pressure Cloud Chamber
Review of Scientific Instruments, 1949A high pressure cloud chamber is described which is so designed as to be as easily counter controlled as an ordinary cloud chamber. The instrument is fitted with a magnet capable of producing a field of approximately 10,000 gauss continuously. It is mounted in a trailer and can be readily transported to mountain sites.

Pressure vessel rupture within a chamber: The pressure history on the chamber wall
Experimental Thermal and Fluid Science, 1991Abstract Generally there are a large number of pressure vessels containing high-pressure gas on power station and chemical plant sites. In many instances, particularly in a power plant, these vessels are within the main building. If one were to fail, the surrounding structures would be exposed to blast loads and the forces resulting from jets of ...

Tank Pressure from Combustion Chamber
Journal of the American Rocket Society, 1948T^HE simplest form of liquid-fuel jet engine for high-speed short-range missiles is the so-called one-shot system, in which the fuel and propellant are contained in tanks capable of standing the combustion-chamber pressure, and are forced into the combustion chamber by the pressure on an inert gas.

DESIGN OF PRESSURE IONIZATION CHAMBERS
Review of Scientific Instruments, 1932Two ionization chambers are described which are suitable for the measurement of hard x-rays and γ-rays. One of them is designed to be used at 30 atmospheres and the other from 60 to 100 atmospheres. The method of assembling and testing the chambers is described.

AERO-OTITIS MEDIA IN PRESSURE CHAMBER "FLIGHTS"
Archives of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, 1946SINCE Armstrong and Heim 1 published the original description of aero-otitis media in 1937, much has been written about this relatively new morbid process. Under the impetus of World War II and the vast increase in flying which has accompanied it, the problem of aero-otitis media has come to assume much more importance in aviation medicine than ever ...
