Distributed pressure sensors for a urethral catheter
2015 37th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBC), 2015A flexible strip that incorporates multiple pressure sensors and is capable of being fixed to a urethral catheter is developed. The urethral catheter thus instrumented will be useful for measurement of pressure in a human urethra during urodynamic testing in a clinic. This would help diagnose the causes of urinary incontinence in patients.

Meteorology and Atmospheric Physics, 1990A mesoscale numerical model is used to compute the different components of the pressure drag on mountains, i.e.: form drag, wave drag, hydrostatic drag, and total pressure drag, for stable stratification.
