Early Clinical, Imaging, and Pathological Characteristics of SRPK3/TTN‐Digenic Myopathy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective SRPK3/TTN‐digenic myopathy was recently established as a skeletal muscle myopathy caused by digenic inheritance. This study characterizes the early clinical presentation of SRPK3/TTN‐digenic myopathy in one previously reported and seven newly identified pediatric patients.

Experimental Investigation on Particle Deposition and Pressure Drop Characteristics of Slit Fin-and-tube Heat Exchanger

open access: yesZhileng xuebao, 2016
The air-side pressure drop of fin-and-tube heat exchangers will increase when covered with dust particles. In this paper, a visual experimental rig was set up to investigate the particle deposition and pressure drop characteristics. The slit fin-and-tube

Selective tube roughening increases heat transfer capability [PDF]

open access: yes, 1966
Selectively roughening inside surfaces of tubes increases the heat transfer capabilities, but minimizes the pressure drop.

Pressure-induced superconductivity in Iron pnictide compound SrFe2As2

open access: yes, 2008
Electrical resistivity under high pressure have been measured on nominally pure SrFe2As2 up to 14 GPa. The resistivity drop appeared with increasing pressure, and we clearly observed zero resistivity. The maximum of superconducting transition temperature

CAR T‐Cell Therapy in Neurology: A Scoping Review of Neuro‐Oncology, Autoimmune Diseases & Neurotoxicity

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T‐cell therapy has been investigated in neurological diseases, encompassing both central nervous system malignancies and autoimmune disorders, thereby extending its application beyond hematological cancers.

Pressure Drop Across Woven Screens Under Uniform and Nonuniform Flow Conditions [PDF]

open access: yes
Tests were conducted to determine the experimental pressure drop and velocity data for water flowing through woven screens. The types of materials used are dutch twill and square weave fabrics.

Recurrent Hypothermia and Autonomic Dysfunction Secondary to Shapiro Syndrome

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A 44‐year‐old man presented with recurrent hypothermia, diaphoresis and hypertension. Extensive investigation for infectious, inflammatory, metabolic and endocrine aetiologies was negative. MR scan of the brain demonstrated no lesions but revealed callosal dysgenesis, consistent with Shapiro syndrome.
