Collision and Diffusion in Microwave Breakdown of Nitrogen Gas in and around Microgaps [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The microwave induced breakdown of N2 gas in microgaps was modeled using the collision frequency between electrons and neutral molecules and the effective electric field concept.

Study on PIV-Based Pressure Estimation Method of Wave Loading under a Fixed Deck

open access: yes한국해양공학회지, 2020
In this study, a particle image velocimetry (PIV)-based pressure estimation method was investigated, with application to the wave-in-deck loading phenomenon.

Numerical Analysis of the Radial Load, Pressure and Velocity Fields of a Single Blade Pump

open access: yesModelling, 2022
The centrifugal screw-type pump is a type of pump which, due to its hydraulic and mechanical properties, is used in several areas of the industry (e.g., for sludge and rainwater disposal).

Pressure-induced ferromagnetism with strong Ising-type anisotropy in YbCu$_2$Si$_2$ [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We report dc magnetic measurements on YbCu$_2$Si$_2$ at pressures above 10 GPa using a miniature ceramic anvil cell. YbCu$_2$Si$_2$ shows a pressure-induced transition from the non-magnetic to a magnetic phase at 8 GPa.

Temporal Variation of the Pressure from a Steady Impinging Jet Model of Dry Microburst-Like Wind Using URANS

open access: yesComputation, 2018
The objective of this study is to investigate the temporal behavior of the pressure field of a stationary dry microburst-like wind phenomenon utilizing Unsteady Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (URANS) numerical simulations.

Two Components of the Macroscopic General Field [PDF]

open access: yesReports in Advances of Physical Sciences, 2017
The general field, containing all the macroscopic fields in it, is divided into the mass component, the source of which is the mass four-current, and the charge component, the source of which is the charge four-current.

Dome of magnetic order inside the nematic phase of sulfur-substituted FeSe under pressure [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The pressure dependence of the structural, magnetic and superconducting transitions and of the superconducting upper critical field were studied in sulfur-substituted Fe(Se$_{1-x}$S$_{x}$).

Effect of simultaneous application of field and pressure on magnetic transitions in La${_{0.5}}$Ca${_{0.5}}$MnO${_{3}}$

open access: yes, 2010
We study combined effect of hydrostatic pressure and magnetic field on the magnetization of La${_{0.5}}$Ca${_{0.5}}$MnO${_{3}}$. We do not observe any significant effect of pressure on the paramagnetic to ferromagnetic transition.

Pressure- and Field-Tuning the Magnetostructural Phases of Mn3O4: Raman Scattering and X-Ray Diffraction Studies

open access: yes, 2011
We present temperature-, magnetic-field-, and pressure-dependent Raman scattering studies of single crystal Mn3O4, combined with temperature- and field-dependent x-ray diffraction studies, revealing the novel magnetostructural phases in Mn3O4.
