In this thesis, the concept of hydraulic pulsating filter is explored and developed. The filter or resonator is designed to attenuate the pulsation that occurs when the hydraulic pump is discharged. Pumps pulsate over a range of frequencies, depending on pump design, speed, displacement, and other factors.
