Prey–predator system with parental care for predators
Journal of Theoretical Biology, 2006A stage structure is incorporated into a prey-predator model in which predators are split into immature predators and mature predators. It is assumed that immature predators are raised by their parents in the sense that they cannot catch the prey and their foods are provided by parents.

Influence of stochastic perturbation on prey–predator systems
Mathematical Biosciences, 2007We analyse the influence of various stochastic perturbations on prey-predator systems. The prey-predator model is described by stochastic versions of a deterministic Lotka-Volterra system. We study long-time behaviour of both trajectories and distributions of the solutions. We indicate the differences between the deterministic and stochastic models.

Multimodel prey-predator LQ differential games
Proceedings of the 2003 American Control Conference, 2003., 2004A two person prey-predator (evader-pursuit) dynamic linear quadratic game is considered. In general, this problem belongs to the class of non-zero sum dynamic games. An original dynamic linear time varying system with additive disturbances or uncertainties is replaced by a finite set of dynamic models such that each one describes a particular uncertain

Resonance in Prey-Predator Systems
1983The role of periodically varying parameters in prey-predator systems is studied. In Lotka-Volterra (LV) and Volterra-Gause-Witt models, it is found that under certain conditions populations can resonate with the periodicities of the parameters. Parametric instability of LV oscillations is studied. Biological implications of the results are discussed.

Propagation of infection and the prey–predator interplay
Journal of Theoretical Biology, 2003The authors examine the prey-predator interaction caused by infection propagation among preys using a minimal model that includes the birth of healthy preys, infection propagation among preys caused by contact between healthy and infected species, and predator death.
