NRASQ61R Expression in Lymphatic Endothelial Cells Causes Enlarged Vessels, Hemorrhagic Chylous Effusions, and High Mortality in a Mouse Model of Kaposiform Lymphangiomatosis

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Kaposiform lymphangiomatosis (KLA) is an aggressive complex lymphatic anomaly. Patients exhibit malformed lymphatic vessels and often develop hemorrhagic effusions and elevated angiopoietin‐2 (Ang‐2) levels. A somatic NRAS p.Q61R (NRASQ61R) mutation has been associated with KLA.

The Price of Order

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computational Geometry & Applications, 2014
We present tight bounds on the spanning ratio of a large family of ordered [Formula: see text]-graphs. A [Formula: see text]-graph partitions the plane around each vertex into [Formula: see text] disjoint cones, each having aperture [Formula: see text].

Common trends, cointegration and competitive price behaviour [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
This article describes a characterisation of competitive market behaviour using the concepts of cointegration analysis. It requires all (n) rms to set prices to follow a single stochastic trend (equivalently the vector of n prices should have ...

Financial Burden Associated With Hospitalisation Among Families of Childhood Brain Tumours in Australia

Indirect costs, such as productivity losses and non‐medical expenses, are rarely included in economic evaluations, and little is known about how effectively financial aid programmes alleviate this burden. Childhood brain tumours
