Superior Impact‐Resistant Composite Hydrogels Through an Ionic Coupling Strategy
An ionic coupling strategy is developed to simultaneously reinforce networks and interfaces in composite hydrogels. Sodium citrate acts as a single multifunctional ionic coupler to strengthen the poly(vinyl alcohol) matrix via the Hofmeister effect, reinforce the chitosan–sodium alginate nanofiber network via desolvation and electrostatic crosslinking,

ABSTRACT This research focused on characterizing graphitic carbon nitride (g‐C3N4) nanocomposites incorporated with ZnO and Ag2O nanoparticles, and carrageenan to remove heavy metals. The ZnO/Ag2O@ g‐C3N4 and ZnO/Ag2O/g‐C3N4@Carr nanocomposites demonstrated thermal stability of 97.40% (108.81°C) and 82.80% (188.99°C) for TGA.

Cell Adhesion by Design: Engineering Tissue Culture Scaffolds With Adhesion Cues
ABSTRACT In scaffold‐based tissue engineering, the matrix should provide adequate adhesion cues for cell attachment, spreading, and function. Given the multitude of adhesion receptors and the diversity of scaffolds, there are many approaches to render scaffolds adhesive, even though they are not all equivalent.

Influence of the Substrate Temperature on the Growth Mechanism of Allylamine Plasma Polymer Films
The influence of the substrate temperature on the growth mechanism of allylamine plasma polymers is investigated by correlating the plasma chemistry and the physico‐chemical properties of the coatings. New insights about the mechanistic formation of functionalized plasma polymers at a molecular level are provided, paving the way toward a better ...
