Archaeometry, EarlyView.ABSTRACT This paper examines transport amphorae of Greek/Aegean types from the 7th–4th c. BCE imported to the Phoenician coastal settlement of Tell el‐Burak, Lebanon. We present a selection of 58 pieces analyzed by typological, chemical (NAA), and petrographic approaches.

Assessing Ancient Inequalities: Hellenistic Delos
Review of Income and Wealth, Volume 71, Issue 2, May 2025.ABSTRACT This paper presents a new data set that measures inequality levels in the city‐state of Delos at two different points in time during the period of its independence (314–167 BCE). We propose a new approach for quantifying ancient inequality and its evolution by relying on inscriptions that indicate property data and artisanal remunerations.
