The notion of a primal ideal of a \(C^ *\)-algebra A has been introduced by the author and \textit{C. J. K. Batty} [J. Oper. Theory 15, 53-81 (1986; Zbl 0592.46052)] who showed, in particular, that a state \(\phi\) is a weak\({}^ *\)-limit of factorial states if and only if the kernel of the GNS representation \(\pi _{\phi}\) is primal.

Psychiatry: Interpersonal and Biological Processes, 2010
Although the myth of Oedipus has been linked with psychiatry through the words of Sigmund Freud, it has not been remembered in the context of its playwright's intention. Sophocles gave Oedipus to his fellow Athenians as a warning (Knox, 1984). That warning was about hubris.

Summary: In this paper, we introduce the notion of primal topological group, which is a generalization of topological group by a primal. We discuss the characterizations of primal topological groups with illustrative examples.

Pseudocubes and Primality Testing
2004The recent ideas of Agrawal, Kayal, and Saxena have produced a milestone in the area of deterministic primality testing. Unfortunately, their method, as well as their successors are mainly of theoretical interest, as they are much too slow for practical applications.
