A simpler alternative to Lucas–Lehmer–Riesel primality test [PDF]
This paper investigates application of Morrison primality test to numbers of $k \cdot 2^n-1$ form and finds a simple general formula, which is equivalent to Lucas–Lehmer and Lucas–Lehmer–Riesel primality ...

Neuroanatomical and functional correlates in borderline personality disorder: A narrative review
Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is considered a dysfunctional, stable, and pervasive alteration in personality functioning with the inability to adapt to the environment, mental rigidity, and ego‐syntonic, and like all personality disorders is a consistent pattern of inner experience and behavior that deviates markedly from the expectations of ...

Primality Tests and Prime Certificate
This note presents a formalisation done in Coq of Lucas-Lehmer test and Pocklington certificate for prime numbers. They both are direct consequences of Fermat little theorem. Fermat little theorem is proved using elementary group theory and in particular Lagrange theorem.

ABSTRACT We are concerned with the stability of a transferable‐utility cooperative (TU) game. First, the concept of core can be weakened so that the blocking of changes is limited to only those with multilateral backings. This principle of consensual blocking, as well as the traditional core‐defining one of unilateral blocking and one straddling in ...

Leveraging Public Transit for Robotic Deliveries: A Column Generation Approach
ABSTRACT Autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) are small, electric, wheeled vehicles that operate at pedestrian speeds. In the last‐mile delivery service considered in this study, a fleet of AMRs is deployed across multiple recharging depots within a service area, from which they depart to perform point‐to‐point deliveries. We consider an operational setting

A faster pseudo-primality test
International audienceWe propose a pseudo-primality test using cyclic extensions of $Z/nZ$. For every positive integer $k$ this test achieves the security of $k^2$ Miller-Rabin tests at the cost of $k^{1+o(1)}$ Miller-Rabin ...
