Modified rush venom immunotherapy in dogs with Hymenoptera hypersensitivity

open access: yesVeterinary Dermatology, Volume 34, Issue 6, Page 532-542, December 2023., 2023
Background – Hymenoptera envenomation occurs frequently in people and dogs and can trigger anaphylaxis. Venom immunotherapy (VIT) is the only preventative treatment for Hymenoptera hypersensitivity and is indicated for people with severe adverse reactions to insect stings. Rush VIT is an accelerated VIT induction schedule performed in people.

Coefficient estimates for bi-univalent Ma-Minda starlike and convex functions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Estimates on the initial coefficients are obtained for normalized analytic functions $f$ in the open unit disk with $f$ and its inverse $g=f^{-1}$ satisfying the conditions that $zf'(z)/f(z)$ and $zg'(z)/g(z)$ are both subordinate to a starlike univalent

Estimate for Initial MacLaurin Coefficients of Certain Subclasses of Bi-univalent Functions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
In this paper, estimates for second and third MacLaurin coefficients of certain subclasses of bi-univalent functions in the open unit disk defined by convolution are determined, and certain special cases are also indicated.

On the sharp constant for starlikeness

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 25, Issue 6, Page 383-387, 2001., 2001
We obtain a sharp constant of the sufficient condition for p‐valently starlikeness, which had been studied by Nunokawa (1991), Obradović and Owa (1989), and Li (1993).

On certain analytic univalent functions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 25, Issue 5, Page 305-310, 2001., 2001
We consider the class of analytic functions B(α) to investigate some properties for this class. The angular estimates of functions in the class B(α) are obtained. Finally, we derive some interesting conditions for the class of strongly starlike and strongly convex of order α in the open unit disk.

Partial sums of certain analytic functions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 25, Issue 12, Page 771-775, 2001., 2001
The object of the present paper is to consider the starlikeness and convexity of partial sums of certain analytic functions in the open unit disk.

Subordination by convex functions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 24, Issue 8, Page 563-568, 2000., 2000
Let K(α), 0 ≤ α < 1, denote the class of functions g(z)=z+Σn=2∞anzn which are regular and univalently convex of order α in the unit disc U. Pursuing the problem initiated by Robinson in the present paper, among other things, we prove that if f is regular in U, f(0) = 0, and f(z) + zf′(z) < g(z) + zg′(z) in U, then (i) f(z) < g(z) at least in |z|

Differential subordinations for fractional‐linear transformations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 23, Issue 2, Page 109-117, 2000., 2000
We establish that the differential subordinations of the forms p(z) + γzp′(z)≺h(A1, B1; z) or p(z) + γzp′(z)/p(z)≺h(A2, B2; z) implies p(z)≺h(A, B; z), where γ ≥ 0 and h(A, B; z) = (1 + Az)/(1 + Bz) with −1 ≤ B < A.

On a class of univalent functions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 23, Issue 12, Page 855-857, 2000., 2000
We consider the class of univalent functions f(z) = z + a3z3 + a4z4 + ⋯ analytic in the unit disc and satisfying |(z2f′(z)/f2(z)) − 1 | < 1, and show that such functions are starlike if they satisfy |(z2f′(z)/f2(z))−1|<(1/2).

Univalence of certain integral operators

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 23, Issue 10, Page 697-701, 2000., 2000
We study some integral operators and determine conditions for the univalence of these integral operators.
