A Joint Strategy of Air-Conditioning and Electrolytic Aluminum Participating in Primary Frequency Modulation

2021 IEEE 5th Conference on Energy Internet and Energy System Integration (EI2), 2021
As the proportion of new energy sources gradually increases, the frequency fluctuation of the system becomes stronger. The power system encounters greater challenges to the frequency stability.

Inertia and primary frequency modulation strategy for a doubly fed induction generator based on supercapacitor energy storage control

International Journal of Green Energy, 2021
Doubly fed wind turbines cannot respond to changes in grid frequency under maximum power point tracking control. The traditional deloading frequency control suffers from problems, such as low power generation efficiency, small speed adjustment range, and

Characteristic Analysis of Primary Frequency Modulation in Power System Under Different Types of Active Disturbance

2018 2nd IEEE Conference on Energy Internet and Energy System Integration (EI2), 2018
With the large scale accessing of wind power to the grid, the power system will withstand different types of active disturbances. In other words, in addition to the traditional step change of the active power caused by the generator outages or sudden ...

Modulation of the evoked response in primary auditory neurons by low-frequency tones

The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1981
Period histograms of the evoked activity from the cells of the guinea pig spiral ganglion were collected in response to a 40-Hz sinusoid plus a high-frequency tone corresponding to the characteristic frequency (CF) of the cells (13–16 kHz). Period histograms were synchronized to the 40-Hz tone.

The modulation of the sensitivity of the mammalian cochlea by low frequency tones. I. Primary afferent activity

Hearing Research, 1984
The neural activity of single cells within the spiral ganglion of the first turn of the guinea pig cochlea has been recorded. Period histograms of the spike activity have been collected. The histograms were synchronised with a loud low frequency tone (40 Hz) presented at a constant intensity below the threshold of the cells to phase locking.
