Dynamic Analysis of MEMS Resonators Under Primary-Resonance Excitation

Volume 1: 20th Biennial Conference on Mechanical Vibration and Noise, Parts A, B, and C, 2005
We present a dynamic analysis and simulation of electrically actuated microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) resonators under primary-resonance excitation. We use a shooting technique, perturbation techniques, and long-time integration of the equation of motion to investigate the global dynamics of the resonators.

MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING OF PRIMARY SKELETAL NEOPLASMS

Radiologic Clinics of North America, 1993
The primary role of magnetic resonance (MR) imaging of skeletal neoplasms is that of staging. Understanding the staging process and selection of the proper imaging planes and pulse sequences is essential for proper staging. To date, image features are not specific for histologic type. In addition, there are still pitfalls with MR imaging for evaluating

Primary heart angiosarcoma detected by magnetic resonance imaging

Acta Radiologica, 2006
We present a case of primary heart angiosarcoma in a 38-year-old male. The patient presented with severe dyspnoe and arrhythmia. Echocardiography showed multiple solid masses in the pericardium and pericardial effusion. Chest radiography revealed left-sided pleural effusion and suspicion of a mass projected on the right atrium.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging of Primary Orbital Ewing’s Sarcoma

Pediatric Neurosurgery, 2005
The authors describe the MRI findings of a primary orbital Ewing’s sarcoma in a 5-year-old boy, who underwent an extensive tumour surgery as these findings were mistaken for more chemoresistant sarcomas such as rhabdomyosarcoma. This case illustrates the fact that MR findings of primary orbital Ewing’s sarcoma may be different from those of Ewing’s ...

Magnetic resonance imaging of primary pediatric liver tumors

Pediatric Radiology, 2016
Although primary hepatic neoplasms are less common than other intra-abdominal tumors in children, these neoplasms are a significant source of morbidity and mortality in the pediatric population. MRI is increasingly relied upon in the diagnostic evaluation of these lesions, both before and after treatment, and familiarity with the MRI findings ...

Magnetic Resonance Imaging of Primary Spinal Intramedullary Lymphoma

Journal of Neuroimaging, 2002
The authors report 2 cases of primary spinal intramedullary lymphoma and review all previously reported magnetic resonance imaging findings on this disease. The most common finding was a solid and homogeneously enhanced mass that was hyperintense on T2‐weighted images, without associated syringomyelia.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Primary and Secondary Septorhinoplasty

Facial Plastic Surgery, 1996
The authors emphasize the importance of MRI as a means to functionally evaluate patients in primary (PR) and secondary (SR) rhinoseptoplasty. Forty-eight subjects were appraised who underwent various types of corrective nose surgery: 31 PR, 12 SR, 4 introgenic perforations, and 1 dermoid cyst of the nasal dorsum.

The primary resonance of laminated piezoelectric rectangular plates

IEEE Transactions on Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics and Frequency Control, 2009
Based on Hamilton's principle and the Rayleigh-Ritz method, a model of a nonlinear dynamic laminated piezoelectric rectangular plate was established, and the governing equations were derived and solved for both the thin-plate and thick-plate models.

Dynamic evolution of a primary resonance MEMS resonator under prebuckling pattern

Nonlinear Dynamics, 2018
This paper analytically investigates the dynamic evolution of the primary frequency response of a prebuckling microbeam-based resonator with $$\hbox {Z}_{2}$$ symmetry.
