Primary intrasellar microgerminoma detected by magnetic resonance imaging

Neurosurgery, 1989
Abstract A case of primary intrasellar germinoma in a 24-year-old woman is presented. Her initial symptoms were diabetes insipidus and headaches. The neurological examination found no abnormalities, but the endocrinological examination disclosed a deficiency in growth hormone secretion.

Primary Resonance of Electrostatically Actuated Cantilever Resonators: Uniform vs. Nonuniform

Volume 5: Dynamics, Vibration, and Control
Abstract This work investigates the amplitude-frequency and amplitude-voltage responses of electrostatically actuated uniform and nonuniform micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) cantilevers. A comparison between uniform and nonuniform cantilevers’ responses is conducted.

Primary extinction in resonant?-ray scattering

Soviet Physics Journal, 1967
A general expression is derived for the primary-extinction length, which in resonant scattering is less by two orders of magnitude than for nonresonant scattering, though there are directions in the crystal for which it increases considerably.

Primary parametric resonance of current-carrying conductor

2010 International Conference on Computer Application and System Modeling (ICCASM 2010), 2010
In order to study on nonlinear vibration of currentcarrying conductor, a differential equation is established by means of dynamics theory. Based on the method of multiple scales, the first approximate solution and corresponding solution of the primary parametric resonance is obtained.

Characterizing the primary resonator in the cochlea

The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America
The cochlear traveling waves are explained by a bank of independent resonators coupled longitudinally by lymphatic fluids. Many cochlear models require at least two resonators to account for observed responses. To investigate the resonators in the cochlea, we used high-resolution optical coherence tomography to measure 2-D vibration patterns of the ...

Magnetic Resonance Imaging of Primary Bone Tumours

1990
In the surgical treatment of malignant bone tumours local en bloc resection has been used widely during the last decade. To restore function this is frequently followed by reconstructive surgery [1].

Magnetic resonance imaging of primary musculoskeletal tumors.

Critical reviews in diagnostic imaging, 1987
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has a very high soft tissue contrast resolution and possibilities of tissue characterization unseen by any other imaging modality. Therefore, it has a great potential for evaluation of musculoskeletal tumors, and the experience in this field is steadily increasing. MRI has now proven to be superior for evaluation of the

Primary intracardiac tumors in magnetic resonance imaging.

Radiation medicine, 1992
Fifteen patients suspected of having 18 intracardiac masses by two-dimensional echocardiography underwent MR imaging. In MR imaging, intracardiac masses were evaluated on both short TE (TE = 20-35 msec) and long TE (TE = 50-80 msec) spin echo sequences, and were differentiated from myocardium or papillary muscle.

Diagnosis of Primary Cardiac Malignancies: Magnetic Resonance

2017
Magnetic resonance (MRI) is a multiparametric imaging technique permitting to evaluate the signal properties, morphological characteristics (location, size, infiltrative nature, presence of pleural/pericardial effusions), and contrast enhancement of cardiac tumors [1].
