Vestibular Patient Journey: Insights From Vestibular Disorders Association (VeDA) Registry

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Vestibular symptoms impose a high burden of disability. Understanding real‐world diagnostic and treatment pathways can identify care gaps and guide interventions. We aimed to characterize symptom profiles, diagnostic trends, provider involvement, and treatment patterns in vestibular disorders.

A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis of the Recurrence of Autoimmune Encephalitis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Autoimmune encephalitis (AE) is a disease with a potential for recurrence, and patients receive immunotherapy to prevent it. However, there is no consensus on the duration of immunotherapy. This study aimed to determine the recurrence rate and identify the risk factors for AE to provide guidance on the duration of immunotherapy ...

Apoptosis in Physiological Root Resorption of Primary Teeth

Nigerian Journal of Clinical Practice, 2023
ABSTRACT Background: During physiological root resorption of deciduous teeth, apoptotic cell death triggered by physiological processes might play a role in physiological root resorption in addition to collagen destruction.

Primary Lesions of the Root of the Tongue

RadioGraphics, 2011
In the assessment of the head and neck, differential diagnoses can be formulated by subdividing the anatomy into spaces along identifiable and logical boundaries. In the oral cavity, the root of the tongue is notably unlike adjacent regions due to structural and tissue-specific differences.

Patterning the primary root in Arabidopsis

WIREs Developmental Biology, 2012
AbstractThe Arabidopsis root, with its ordered cell divisons and straightforward patterning, is a tractable model for understanding organ formation during plant development. Regular cell divisions in the root tip produce consistent cell type arrangements that can be followed through time.

Root‐secreted peptide OsPEP1 regulates primary root elongation in rice

The Plant Journal, 2021
SummaryHormone‐like signaling peptides play essential roles in plant growth and development; however, few peptides regulating root development have been identified in rice (Oryza sativa). Here, we combined liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC‐MS/MS) with whole‐genome in silico screening for root‐secreted peptides in rice.

Atypical root resorption following root fractures in primary teeth.

Quintessence international (Berlin, Germany : 1985), 2018
Atypical root resorption (ARR) is the condition of a superficial and circumferential resorption process along the lateral and/or apical root surface of a primary maxillary incisor. This case series demonstrates longitudinal observations of six patients with atypical root resorption following root-fractured primary incisors.

Root hair formation and elongation of primary maize roots

Physiologia Plantarum, 1986
In maize (Zea mays L. cv. LG 11) roots cultured in humid air, the presence of hairs was not related to root growth. However, maximum hair length and length of the hair zone could be correlated to the elongation rate of the primary root. Under the growth conditions used, the emergence of root hairs always took place in the extending zone.

Primary root and lateral root development in guar seedlings

Environmental and Experimental Botany, 1990
Abstract Primary root and lateral root length of 7- and 10-day-old seedlings of three guar (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba (L.) Taub.) seed sources were evaluated under several temperature and pre-germination seed treatment regimes to determine optimum conditions for root development.

The Root and Nothing but the Root: Primary Compounds in Dutch

Syntax, 2017
AbstractThis article is an addendum to recent contributions on the structure of compounds in root‐based frameworks, such as the Exoskeletal Model (Borer,:chap. 6, 2013b) or Distributed Morphology (Harley). It presents a subtype of Dutch primary compounds of which the nonhead is demonstrably a bare root.
