Information regarding the prevalence of pulp calcifications in primary teeth is lacking. The occurrence of pulp calcifications in 120 primary maxillary and mandibular extracted teeth was evaluated radiographically. Twenty-five percent of second molars presented evidence of pulp calcifications; approximately 3% of central incisors were calcified.
