Exploring the landscape of GenAI and education literature: A taxonomy of themes and sub‐themes

open access: yesBritish Educational Research Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract The research landscape surrounding Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) and education is rapidly expanding, characterised by a dynamic array of themes and sub‐themes. This paper aims to construct a comprehensive taxonomy that categorises the current literature on the integration of GenAI in educational settings.

Reduced Adult Neurogenesis in Humans Results From a Tradeoff Rather Than Direct Negative Selection

open access: yesBioEssays, EarlyView.
Embryonic radial glia (RG) generate neurons, glial cells, and later adult neural stem cells, which sustain adult neurogenesis (top, left to right). Human‐specific genetic modifications (blue arrow), selected to boost early RG neurogenic activity, may lead to premature RG exhaustion and reduced adult neurogenesis in the human brain (bottom).

Host Cell Protein Clinical Safety Risk Assessment—An Updated Industry Review

open access: yesBiotechnology and Bioengineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Host cell proteins (HCP) are process‐related impurities that can co‐purify with therapeutic proteins. Some HCP impurities potentially can have an impact on patient safety (immunogenicity or toxicity), efficacy, and/or product quality. It is important to reduce the levels of HCP impurities with a well‐controlled manufacturing process and to ...
