Extended ionized gas clouds in the Abell 1367 cluster
We surveyed a central 0.6 deg^2 region of Abell 1367 cluster for extended ionized gas clouds (EIGs) using the Subaru prime-focus camera (Suprime-Cam) with a narrow-band filter that covers Halpha. We discovered six new EIGs in addition to five known EIGs.

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

Some Types of Filters in Equality Algebras [PDF]
Equality algebras were introduced by S. Jenei as a possible algebraic semantic for fuzzy type theory. In this paper, we introduce some types of filters such as (positive) implicative, fantastic, Boolean, and prime filters in equality algebras and we ...

A mid-IR survey of the L 1641-N region with ISOCAM
We present an analysis of the L 1641 outflow region using broad-band and narrow-band imaging data at mid-infrared wavelengths from ISOCAM. We detect a total of 34 sources in the $7.65^{\prime}$ x $8.40^{\prime}$ region covered by the broad-band filters ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Exploring Star Filters of Almost Distributive Lattices
In an almost distributive lattice (ADL), we have presented and explored the notions of star filters and starlets. Further, we have characterized star filters through their starlets.

Comparative study on the relationship between the use of a polymethyl methacrylate dome and the aerosol dispersion distance for contamination prevention in dentistry [PDF]
Introduction In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, biosafety protocols in dentistry have been intensified due to the high risk of aerosol contamination.

The Booleanization of an inverse semigroup
We prove that the forgetful functor from the category of Boolean inverse semigroups to inverse semigroups with zero has a left adjoint. This left adjoint is what we term the `Booleanization'.

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.
