Summary: In this work, \(gw\)-prime submodules of a module over a commutative ring with identity are defined. This class of submodules is a generalization of weakly prime submodules. After examining general properties of \(gw\)-prime submodules, their relation with valuation modules are investigated.

SOME PROPERTIES OF ALMOST JOINTLY PRIME (R,S)-SUBMODULES
Let and be rings with identity. The definition of prime submodule has been generalized to the almost prime submodule. In addition, the definition of prime submodule has also been carried over to the (,)-module structure, which is called jointly prime (,

A Note on the Dimension of the Largest Simple Hecke Submodule
For k≥2 even, let dk,N denote the dimension of the largest simple Hecke submodule of Sk(Γ0(N);Q)new. We show, using a simple analytic method, that dk,N≫kloglogN/log(2p) with p, the smallest prime co-prime to N.

On 2-Absorbing Primary Submodules of Modules over Commutative Rings
All rings are commutative with 1 ≠ 0, and all modules are unital. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the concept of 2-absorbing primary submodules generalizing 2-absorbing primary ideals of rings. Let M be an R-module. A proper submodule N of an

On the Lie structure of a prime associative superalgebra [PDF]
In this paper some results on the Lie structure of prime superalgebras are discussed. We prove that, with the exception of some special cases, for a prime superalgebra A over a ring of scalars Φ with 1/2 ∈ Φ, if L is a Lie ideal of A and W is a ...

On \(\Phi\)-powerful submodules and \(\Phi\)-strongly prime submodules
Let R be a commutative ring with identity and N be a submodule of an R-module M. We say a nonnil submodule N of an R-module M is a Φ-powerful (resp., Φ-strongly prime) submodule, if Φ(N) is a powerful (resp., strongly prime) submodule of a module Φ(M). We show that a nonnil prime submodule N of an R-module M is a Φ-powerful submodule if and only if it ...

Let R denote a strongly prime ring. An explicit construction is given of the radical in R-mod corresponding to the unique maximal proper torsion theory. This radical is characterized in two other ways analogous to known descriptions of the prime radical ...
