PRIMITIVE ELEMENTS AND PREIMAGE OF PRIMITIVE SETS OF FREE LIE ALGEBRAS [PDF]
Let F and L be free Lie algebras of finite rank n andm respectively and φ be a homomorphism from F to L. We prove that the preimage of a primitive set of L contains a primitive set of F . As a consequence of this result we obtain that an element h of a subalgebra H of F is primitive in H if it is primitive in F . Also we show that in a free Lie algebra

Detection of Composite Operation in Model Management
Model management systems become increasingly critical in model-driven engineering. One of the main tasks of these systems is to record the operations performed on model elements. While most systems support the record of primitive model change operations,

A machine learning framework for discovering high entropy alloys phase formation drivers
In the past years, high entropy alloys (HEAs) witnessed great interest because of their superior properties. Phase prediction using machine learning (ML) methods was one of the main research themes in HEAs in the past three years.

On primitive elements in finite semifields
Semifields \((S,+,\cdot)\) in the meaning of this article are division rings with identity, where the multiplication is not necessarily associative. The centre of such a semifield is defined as \(K=\{ a\in S\mid (ab)c=a(bc), b(ac)=(ba)c, b(ca)=(bc)a, ab=ba\) for all \(b,c\in S\}\). If \(S\) is a finite semifield then its centre is a finite field \(F_q\)

Primitive Elements with Zero Traces
Let \(F_q\) be the finite field of order \(q\), \(n\geq 2\) and \(a\) be an arbitrary element of \(F_q\). The second author showed in [\textit{S. D. Cohen} Discrete Math. 83, No. 1, 1-7 (1990; Zbl 0711.11048)] that in the extension field \(F_{q^n}\) there exists a primitive element with trace \(a\), except for the cases \(n=2\) and \((n,q)=(3,4)\) when
