Steps toward the power spectrum of matter. III. The primordial spectrum
Observed power spectrum of matter found in Papers I and II is compared with analytical power spectra. Spatially flat cold and mixed dark matter models with cosmological constant and open models are considered.

On the primordial information available to galaxy redshift surveys [PDF]
Abstract We investigate the amount of primordial information that can be reconstructed from spectroscopic galaxy surveys, as well as what sets the noise in reconstruction at low wavenumbers, by studying a simplified universe in which galaxies are the Zeldovich displaced Lagrangian peaks in the linear density field.

A Possible Solution to the Mystery of the ANITA Anomalous Events
In 2006 and 2014, the Antarctic Impulsive Transient Antenna (ANITA), a balloon‐borne radio observatory flying over Antarctica, detected two strange upward‐going radio pulse events that have not yet been explained by our current understanding of physics.

Stellar-reddening-based Extinction Maps for Cosmological Applications
Cosmological surveys must correct their observations for the reddening of extragalactic objects by Galactic dust. Existing dust maps, however, have been found to have spatial correlations with the large-scale structure of the Universe.

Mechanism for the Suppression of Intermediate-Mass Black Holes
A model for the formation of supermassive primordial black holes in galactic nuclei with the simultaneous suppression of the formation of intermediate-mass black holes is presented. A bimodal mass function for black holes formed through phase transitions

Abstract String theory has strong implications for cosmology, implying the absence of a cosmological constant, ruling out single‐field slow‐roll inflation, and that black holes decay. The origins of these statements are elucidated within the string‐theoretical swampland programme.

Turbulent Gas-rich Disks at High Redshift: Bars and Bulges in a Radial Shear Flow
Recent observations of high-redshift galaxies ( z ≲ 7) reveal that a substantial fraction have turbulent, gas-rich disks with well-ordered rotation and elevated levels of star formation.

Primordial Molecular Emission in Population III Galaxies [PDF]
Abstract We consider the formation of molecules in primordial prestellar clumps and evaluate the line luminosities to assess detectability by next-generation observational facilities. If the initial $\mathrm{H}_2$ fraction is sufficiently high, HD becomes an important coolant in the clumps.

Abstract Xenon (Xe) is a heavy noble gas with intriguing chemical properties, such as having several stable isotopes and the ability to form compounds under extreme conditions. Despite the predictions based on cosmochemical models that suggest xenon should be relatively abundant in planetary reservoirs, empirical data indicate a significant depletion ...
