Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Social network learning efficiency in the principal–agent relationship
Under the bounded rationality assumption, a principal rarely provides an optimal contract to an agent. Learning from others is one way to improve such a contract.

A Solvable Dynamic Principal-Agent Model with Linear Marginal Productivity
We study how to design an optimal contract which provides incentives for agent to put forth the desired effort in a continuous time dynamic moral hazard model with linear marginal productivity.

In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Existence of solutions to principal-agent problems with adverse selection under minimal assumptions
We prove an existence result for the principal-agent problem with adverse selection under general assumptions on preferences and allocation spaces. Instead of assuming that the allocation space is finite-dimensional or compact, we consider a more general

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

The Quality-Quantity Trade-off in the Principal-Agent Framework [PDF]
This paper uses the principal-agent theory to analytically investigate the optimal incentive-based compensation contract that a processor should offer to a grower performing efforts in quantity and quality.

Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

CIVIL LIABILITY OF PRINCIPAL FOR THE ACTS OF AGENT – A COMPARISON BETWEEN FRANCE AND MAURITIUS
Mauritian civil law is strongly influenced by French civil law, for historical reasons. Civil liability, tort and contractual law, is regulated in an almost same manner in the two countries.
