Learning-by-employing: the value of commitment [PDF]
We analyze a dynamic principal–agent model where an infinitely-lived principal faces asequence of finitely-lived agents who differ in their ability to produce output. The ability of anagent is initially unknown to both him and the principal.

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

SIMULATING THE IMPACTS OF CONTRACT SUPPLIES IN A SPOT MARKET-CONTRACT MARKET EQUILIBRIUM SETTING [PDF]
This paper embeds a principal-agent model of producer-processor equilibrium within a market equilibrium model of contract and cash markets to analyze the impact of contracting on the spot market for hogs.

Homologous expression and purification of human HAX‐1 for structural studies
This research protocol provides detailed instructions for cloning, expressing, and purifying large quantities of the intrinsically disordered human HAX‐1 protein, N‐terminally fused to a cleavable superfolder GFP, from mammalian cells. HAX‐1 is predicted to undergo posttranslational modifications and to interact with membranes, various cellular ...

Control and information in a dynamic multiple agent model. [PDF]
he controllability principle says that an individual should be rewarded on the basis of what he controls. This paper studies this principle from a principal agent point of view.

Overview of molecular signatures of senescence and associated resources: pros and cons
Cells can enter a stress response state termed cellular senescence that is involved in various diseases and aging. Detecting these cells is challenging due to the lack of universal biomarkers. This review presents the current state of senescence identification, from biomarkers to molecular signatures, compares tools and approaches, and highlights ...

The effects of costly exploration on optimal investment timing [PDF]
This paper investigates a principal-agent model in which an owner (principal) optimizes a contract with a manager (agent) delegated to undertake an investment project. In the model, we explore the effects of costly exploration by which the manager learns
