Curved Casimir Operators and the BGG Machinery

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2007
We prove that the Casimir operator acting on sections of a homogeneous vector bundle over a generalized flag manifold naturally extends to an invariant differential operator on arbitrary parabolic geometries.

Coincidence points of principal bundles

open access: yesTopology and its Applications, 1992
AbstractLet p: E→B be a principal G-bundle where G is a compact connected Lie group, p′:E′→B′ be a fibre bundle and f,g:E′→E be fibre-preserving maps over a map h:B′→B. If the Lefschetz number for the restriction of f and g on a fibre is not zero, we give the number of nonempty Nielsen classes over h for f and g as well as the topological dimension of ...

Transcriptome‐wide analysis of circRNA and RBP profiles and their molecular relevance for GBM

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CircRNAs are differentially expressed in glioblastoma primary tumors and might serve as therapeutic targets and diagnostic markers. The investigation of circRNA and RNA‐binding proteins (RBPs) interactions shows that distinct RBPs play a role in circRNA biogenesis and function.

Infinitesimally natural principal bundles

open access: yesJournal of Geometric Mechanics, 2016
We extend the notion of a natural fibre bundle by requiring diffeomorphisms of the base to lift to automorphisms of the bundle only infinitesimally, i.e. at the level of the Lie algebra of vector fields. We classify the principal fibre bundles with this property.

Highly multiplexed digital PCR assay for simultaneous quantification of variant allele frequencies and copy number alterations of KRAS and GNAS in pancreatic cancer precursors

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining melting curve analysis enhances the multiplexing capability of digital PCR. Here, we developed a 14‐plex assay to simultaneously measure single nucleotide mutations and amplifications of KRAS and GNAS, which are common driver genes in pancreatic cancer precursors. This assay accurately quantified variant allele frequencies in clinical samples

Exploration of heterogeneity and recurrence signatures in hepatocellular carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study leveraged public datasets and integrative bioinformatic analysis to dissect malignant cell heterogeneity between relapsed and primary HCC, focusing on intercellular communication, differentiation status, metabolic activity, and transcriptomic profiles.

A potential biomarker of cognitive impairment: The olfactory dysfunction and its genes expression

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, Volume 9, Issue 12, Page 1884-1897, December 2022., 2022
Abstract Objective Accumulation evidence has reported that olfactory impairment may be an essential clinical marker and predictor of mild cognitive impairment or Alzheimer's disease. Method Participants were enrolled in the population‐based, prospective study in Fuxin county, Liaoning province, China between 2019 and 2021.
