The Structure of Finite Local Principal Ideal Rings [PDF]
A ring R is called a principal ideal ring (PIR), if each ideal of R is a principal ideal. A local ring (R, đȘ) is an artinian PIR if and only if its maximal ideal đȘ is principal and has finite nilpotency index.

We obtained potential bacterial laccaseâlike multicopper oxidase (LMCO) sequences through metagenomic sequencing. All sequences exhibited significant differences from known LMCOs in databases. To select the most promising candidates, we performed structure prediction and molecular docking using alphafold2, metal3d and rosetta.

Pure Differential Modules and a Result of Macaulay on Unmixed Polynomial Ideals [PDF]
The first purpose of this paper is to point out a curious result announced by Macaulay on the Hilbert function of a differential module in his famous book The Algebraic Theory of Modular Systems published in 1916.

Boundaries of photosynthesis: adaptations of carbon fixation in extreme environments
Photosynthesis faces challenges from environmental extremes of temperature, pH, and salinity, limiting gas diffusion, modifying membrane fluidity, and destabilizing photochemical and biochemical reactions. Photosynthetic organisms have evolved unique adaptations overcoming these stresses and maintaining their photosynthetic activity.

On Computing the Elimination Ideal Using Resultants with Applications to Gr\"obner Bases [PDF]
Resultants and Gr\"obner bases are crucial tools in studying polynomial elimination theory. We investigate relations between the variety of the resultant of two polynomials and the variety of the ideal they generate.

Current trends in singleâcell RNA sequencing applications in diabetes mellitus
Singleâcell RNA sequencing is a powerful approach to decipher the cellular and molecular landscape at a singleâcell resolution. The rapid development of this technology has led to a wide range of applications, including the detection of cellular and molecular mechanisms and the identification and introduction of novel potential diagnostic and ...

Principal Mappings between Posets
We introduce and study principal mappings between posets which generalize the notion of principal elements in a multiplicative lattice, in particular, the principal ideals of a commutative ring.

Some results on the complement of a new graph associated to a commutative ring
The rings considered in this article are commutative with identity which admit at least one nonzero proper idealâ. âLet $R$ be a ringâ. âWe denote the collection of all ideals of $R$ by $\mathbb{I}(R)$ and $\mathbb{I}(R)\backslash \{(0)\}$ by $\mathbb{

Abstract Purpose Sparing pharyngeal constrictor muscles (PCMs) during radiotherapy improves patientâreported swallowing function. This study aimed to explore the feasibility of integrating knowledgeâbased planning (KBP) with multicriteria optimization (MCO) in Eclipse v18.0 to selectively spare PCM, quantify the required tradeâoff in prophylactic ...
