Unusual Sabatier principle on high entropy alloy catalysts for hydrogen evolution reactions

open access: yesNature Communications
The advancement of high entropy alloy development is both rapid and challenging. Here, the authors discover an unusual Sabatier principle operating on the high entropy alloy surface, which leads to a notable enhancement in catalytic activity for hydrogen

Harnessing Machine Learning to Enhance Transition State Search with Interatomic Potentials and Generative Models

open access: yesAdvanced Science
Transition state (TS) search is crucial for illuminating chemical reaction mechanisms but remains the major bottleneck in automated discovery because of the high computational cost. Recently, machine learning interatomic potentials (MLIPs) and generative

The cohesive principle and the Bolzano-Weierstraß principle

open access: yesMath. Log. Q., 2010
The aim of this paper is to determine the logical and computational strength of instances of the Bolzano-Weierstraß principle (BW) and a weak variant of it. We show that BW is instance-wise equivalent to the weak König's lemma for $Σ^0_1$-trees ($Σ^0_1$-WKL).
