THE THEORY OF NARRATIVE IN BOOK GRAPHICS ART [PDF]

open access: yesStudiul Artelor şi Culturologie: Istorie, Teorie, Practică, 2015
The principle of narrative is common not only to literature, but also to other areas and genres of creativity. Among all the genres of fine arts, book graphics is considered to be the closest to literature. In developing book graphics there are two basic

Does Material Adverse Change (MAC) fulfill the Principles of an Agreement?

open access: yesJurnal IUS, 2021
Material Adverse Change (MAC) clause is rarely discussed in contract law because it is an agreement between the two parties. This clause has quite extensive effects, especially at the time of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Global versus Local -- Mach's Principle versus the Equivalence Principle

open access: yes, 2016
The equivalence principle is the conceptual basis for general relativity. In contrast Mach's principle, although said to have been influential on Einstein in his formulation of general relativity, has not been shown to be central to the structure of ...

The interior as architectural principle [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The principle of architecture is the creation of an “inside” or an interior. There are three layers of meaning involved in isolating and defining a space as an “inside”: the floor/earth, the wall/world, the ceiling/heavens.

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

Electromagnetic Mach principle [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
We will introduce a gauge model which an electromagnetic coupling constant and local mass are related to all the charge in the universe. we will use the standard Dirac action, but where the mass and the electromagnetic coupling constant are a function of

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.
