Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

Space-time, relativity and quantum mechanics: In search of a deeper connection [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
It has been shown that the Lorentz transformations in special relativity can be derived in terms of the principle of relativity and certain properties of space and time such as homogeneity.

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

How to move an electromagnetic field? [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
As a first principle, it is the basic assumption of the standard relativistic formulation of classical electrodynamics (ED) that the physical laws describing the electromagnetic phenomena satisfy the relativity principle (RP).

In-depth logical analysis of special relativity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
In this paper, we deeply analysis Einstein's two famous papers that regard special relativity in every aspect. We discuss in every detail with respect to inconsistency of the simultaneity, relativity of length and time, derivations and interpretations of

Galilean relativity – Explained by means of the triangle solutions

open access: yesResults in Physics
This paper presents a novel approach to understanding relativity through the lens of the triangle solutions. Triangle solutions will serve as a mathematical model for relativity.

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

Special Theory of Relativity and the Lorentz Force [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
Efforts to demonstrate that the application of Lorentz transformations leads to the form Y' = [Y - (v/c)N] (at least to the leading orders of approximation), which has been elevated to the criterion for the validity of STR , has been the main point in ...

PROPERTIES AND COMPUTER SIMULATION OF ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD UNIFORM TRAFFIC CHARGED PARTICLE.

open access: yesÌнформаційні технології в освіті, 2010
In the article described the method of teaching electrodynamics, which is based on considerably fewer independent source principles (Coulomb's law, the principle of relativity and the principle of superposition).

Is the Basic Structure of the Universe Simple?

open access: yesAxioms
Can our extremely complicated world be explained, starting from simple conditions and laws? Such questions easily become metaphysical, but at the same time they have historically served science well by promoting new and fruitful ideas.
