Customizable Nonplanar Printing of Lithium‐Ion Batteries
AbstractLithium‐ion batteries (LIBs) are widely used in consumer electronics due to their rechargeability and high energy density. Commercial LIBs are fabricated in fixed geometries such as cylinder, coin, and pouch. However, for specialized applications such as wearable electronics and on‐device power systems, customizable LIBs with arbitrary geometry

Multiphase printable organohydrogels with tunable microstructures are developed to control molecular transport pathways for immiscible cargo. The tortuosity and domain size of the colloidal phases are tuned by adjusting temperature and shear during processing, which enables the tailoring of diffusion kinetics due to different transport pathways.
