A Design of Parameters with Supercritical Carbon Dioxide Brayton Cycle for CiADS
Recompression supercritical carbon dioxide (SCO2) Brayton Cycle for the Chinese Initiative Accelerator Driven System (CiADS) is taken into account, and flexible thermodynamic modeling method is presented. The influences of the key parameters on thermodynamic properties of SCO2 Brayton Cycle are discussed and the comparative analyses on genetic ...

Comprehensive Thermodynamic Analysis of He–Xe in Microchannels with Different Structures
He–Xe, with a 40 g/mol molar mass, is considered one of the most promising working media in a space-confined Brayton cycle. The thermodynamic performance of He–Xe in different configuration channels is investigated in this paper to provide a basis for ...

CO2 binary mixtures in transcritical power cycles offer efficiency improvements compared to sCO2 in hot‐environments, but no studies on transport properties are available for complex/asymmetric CO2 mixtures. This work proves that the friction theory model, calibrated on pure component data, has superior predictivity compared to traditional models.

Effects of Elastic Walls on the Thermal Performance of a Counterflow Heat Exchanger
Using elastic plates in combination with counterflow heat exchangers is an innovative aspect of thermal energy storage systems (TES). The incorporation of elastic plates dramatically enhances heat transfer. However, prior studies have yet to thoroughly investigate the effects of exerting force on these elastic plates.
