Plasma Treatment of Large-Area Polymer Substrates for the Enhanced Adhesion of UV–Digital Printing
UV–digital printing belongs to the commonly used method for custom large-area substrate decoration. Despite low surface energy and adhesion, transparent polymer materials, such as polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) and polycarbonate (PC), represent an ideal ...

USE OF AGRICULTURAL WASTE IN PRINTING SUBSTRATES FOR GREEN PACKAGING IN MULTICOLOUR PRINTING
Constant population growth and urbanization lead to increased waste generation, which contributes significantly to environmental degradation. Along with proper management of solid waste, an important guideline is to convert as much waste as possible into new functional products.

Boosting Conversion Efficiency in Zn3P2/InP Solar Cells Via Nanoscale Junction Engineering
This study demonstrates the efficacy of selective area epitaxy (SAE) in enhancing the conversion efficiency of a Zn3P2${\rm Zn}_3{\rm P}_2$/InP heterojunction solar cell. The impact of the SAE pattern dimensions on the performance parameters is investigated. Small size opening limits Jsc because of current crowding whereas large size opening limits Voc

In this work, we use direct ink writing (DIW) to 3D print Bi2Te3‐based materials and naturally induce hierarchical functional nanostructures, which reduced the lattice thermal conductivity by half, resulting in high zT of 0.87and 0.89 in p‐type and n‐type compounds, respectively, competitive with commercial materials.

Thermoresponsive Soft and Self‐Anchoring Cuff Electrode for Chronic Peripheral Interfaces
A novel thermoresponsive, soft and self‐anchoring (TSSA) cuff electrode utilizing shape memory polymers achieves autonomous, sutureless peripheral nerve fixation. Driven by thermally induced pre‐strain and tissue adhesion, the device self‐closes and softens at body temperature, successfully minimizing mechanical mismatch. This adaptive platform ensures

A gradient‐engineered all‐paper sensor is fabricated by integrating MXene and in situ grown AgNPs within hierarchical cellulose networks. The device breaks the sensitivity–detection range trade‐off through cascaded conductive pathways, enabling ultrahigh pressure sensitivity, humidity–pressure decoupled dual‐mode sensing, and outstanding EMI shielding,

A 3D Human Neuron‐on‐Chip Platform to Monitor Neuronal Injury Responses
This study presents a novel 3D Neuron‐on‐Chip model that can maintain human PSC‐derived excitatory prefrontal cortex neurons in 3D hydrogels and can be used to monitor neuronal injury responses over time. Results show injury‐induced acute neuronal excitotoxicity, declining neuronal connectivity, and the activation of a neurodegenerative, SASP‐like ...

This review examines how cellular behavior is regulated by mechanical cues transmitted through soft biomaterials, from single‐cell mechanosensing to tissue‐level adaptation. It highlights why physiological relevance, rather than model complexity alone, is critical for translational mechanobiology and introduces a scoring framework linking material ...
