Mapping Nanoscale Protein‐Corona Kinetics of DoE‐Optimized Perfluorocarbon Encapsulated‐PLGA Nanoparticles by In Situ, Time‐Resolved Synchrotron SAXS

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A two‐phase workflow (OFAT screening followed by central composite design) maps how processing variables tune PFCE‐PLGA nanoparticle size, dispersity, surface charge, loading, and 19F‐MRI signal. In situ, time‐resolved synchrotron SAXS tracks albumin‐corona growth on intact dispersions and reveals PFCE‐dependent adsorption pathways.

Light‐Induced Entropy for Secure Vision

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work realized a ternary true random number generator by exploiting stochastic traps emerging within multiple junction interfaces, and quantitatively validated the generation of high‐quality random numbers. Furthermore, it successfully demonstrated diverse applications, including AI‐resilient image security, thereby providing a valuable guide for ...

DPKnob: A visual analysis approach to risk-aware formulation of differential privacy schemes for data query scenarios

open access: yesVisual Informatics
Differential privacy is an essential approach for privacy preservation in data queries. However, users face a significant challenge in selecting an appropriate privacy scheme, as they struggle to balance the utility of query results with the preservation

Metamaterial Antennas Enhance MRI of the Eye and Occipital Brain

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A radiofrequency antenna platform comprising planar and bend configurations is developed, incorporating structurally integrated epsilon‐negative metamaterial unit cells to enhance MRI. These antennas enable high‐resolution in vivo human MRI of the eye, orbit, and occipital brain. Comprehensive validation, including simulations, phantom experiments, SAR,

Privacy-preserving email forensics

open access: yesDigital Investigation, 2015
AbstractIn many digital forensic investigations, email data needs to be analyzed. However, this poses a threat to the privacy of the individual whose emails are being examined and in particular becomes a problem if the investigation clashes with privacy laws.

Localized Temperature Monitoring in Mouse Brain during Light Delivery via a Non‐Planar Tapered Fiber‐Integrated µRTD Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report a multifunctional tapered optical fiber integrating a conformal micro‐resistance temperature detector (µRTD) for local, real‐time thermometry during optical stimulation. The platform combines light‐delivery and temperature sensing within a minimally invasive footprint, enabling detection of sub‐degree cortical heating under representative ...

Privacy Preserving Event Detection

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Information Theory
This paper presents a privacy-preserving event detection scheme based on measurements made by a network of sensors. A diameter-like decision statistic made up of the marginal types of the measurements observed by the sensors is employed. The proposed detection scheme can achieve the best type-I error exponent as the type-II error rate is required to be
