HPD is an RNA‐Binding Protein Sustaining Ovarian Cancer Cell Glycolysis, Tumor Growth, and Drug Resistance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
HPD is identified as an RNA‐binding protein that promotes mRNA translation by binding to RRACH motifs via its double‐stranded RNA‐binding domains. This RNA‐binding activity critically sustains glycolysis in ovarian cancer cells. Disrupting HPD's RNA‐binding function effectively suppresses tumor growth and enhances therapeutic sensitivity, highlighting ...

Brachyury‐Activated Fucoidan Hydrogel Microspheres Rejuvenate Degenerative Intervertebral Discs Microenvironment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study describes the creation of injectable Brachyury (Bry) mRNA‐loaded Fucoidan‐functionalized GelMA hydrogel microspheres (BLNP@GF). These microspheres efficiently suppress inflammation, enhance extracellular matrix (ECM) synthesis in degenerated nucleus pulposus cells, and mitigate intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD) in rat models.

Unconventional Topological Weyl Dipole Phonon

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A new higher‐order topological phonon state is proposed, which integrates an unconventional Weyl dipole phonon (a charge‐3 Weyl point and three charge‐1 Weyl points) with higher‐order topology. Moreover, the two Weyl dipoles in Y(OH)3 exhibit the sextuple‐helicoid surface and hinge boundary states from the nonzero topological charge (±6) and the ...
