A Force Myography (FMG) Armband Based on Micro‐Structured Textile‐Pressure Sensors for Human‐Machine Interface (HMI)

open access: yesAdvanced Sensor Research, EarlyView.
This study introduces a textile‐based capacitive pressure sensor featuring a triangular prism microstructure, which significantly enhances sensitivity to 5.52% kPa−¹ and supports a wide sensing range up to 330 kPa. The sensor's performance is validated in a 4‐channel capacitive pressure‐based force myography (cFMG) armband for gesture recognition ...

Dual Foreign Body Response Mitigation Strategies for Implantable Glucose Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Sensor Research, EarlyView.
The foreign body response negatively impacts the analytical lifetime of implantable glucose sensors due to a heightened immune response and deposition of collagen. While nitric oxide release has shown promise as a foreign body response mitigation strategy, improvement is limited by the duration of release.

Aqueous Synthesis of UiO‐66 Metal‐Organic Frameworks With Enhanced Crystallinity and Surface Area

open access: yesAdvanced Sustainable Systems, EarlyView.
In this work, highly crystalline UiO‐66 is synthesized in water at 65 °C, achieving a high surface area of 741 m2 g−1, by modulating the pH of the reaction, promoting optimal coordination between metal clusters and organic linkers. Avoiding toxic and expensive solvents enables future scaling of UiO‐66 production. Abstract Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs)

ST6GAL1‐Mediated Sialylation Stabilizes PD‐L1 and Drives Immunosuppressive Tumor Microenvironment in Colorectal Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ST6GAL1 plays a critical role in tumor progression and immune regulation in colorectal cancer (CRC). Its depletion significantly suppresses the malignant phenotype of CRC cells and enhances the efficacy of anti‐PD‐L1 therapy. High ST6GAL1 expression promotes an immune‐activated tumor microenvironment (TME), characterized by increased infiltration of ...
