Ubiquitination of transcription factors in cancer: unveiling therapeutic potential

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In cancer, dysregulated ubiquitination of transcription factors contributes to the uncontrolled growth and survival characteristics of tumors. Private Coded Computation for Machine Learning [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2018
In a distributed computing system for the master-worker framework, an erasure code can mitigate the effects of slow workers, also called stragglers. The distributed computing system combined with coding is referred to as coded computation. We introduce a variation of coded computation that protects the master's privacy from the workers, which is ...

Detecting homologous recombination deficiency for breast cancer through integrative analysis of genomic data

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study develops a semi‐supervised classifier integrating multi‐genomic data (1404 training/5893 validation samples) to improve homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) detection in breast cancer. Our method demonstrates prognostic value and predicts chemotherapy/PARP inhibitor sensitivity in HRD+ tumours.
