A Systematic Approach to Analyze T Cell Migration: Application to Mouse Melanoma Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Therapeutics, EarlyView.
The results show that a minimum of two migration speeds can be rigorously identified from the data with cells switching between a fast, persistent migratory state, and a slow, random migration state. These results will help in identifying genetic factors that influence rapid migration, among other applications, such as quality control for CAR‐T cell ...

Continuum Percolation in Anisotropic Rectangles: The Role of Excluded Area and Average Connectivity at the Threshold

open access: yesAdvanced Theory and Simulations, EarlyView.
This work presents a combined analytical–computational approach to quantify the influence of aspect ratio and anisotropic orientation on the percolation behavior of penetrable rectangles. The proposed model reliably predicts the geometric percolation threshold and electrical conductivity of 2D networks, with power‐law fits showing strong agreement with

Leveraging Transfer Learning to Overcome Data Limitations in Czochralski Crystal Growth

open access: yesAdvanced Theory and Simulations, EarlyView.
A data‐driven framework combining Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations and machine learning is proposed to model and optimize Czochralski crystal growth. Using different transfer learning strategies (Warm Start, Merged Training, and Hyperparameter Transfer) the study demonstrates improved predictions for Ge and GaAs growth from Si‐trained ...

Effect of Anion Hydrophobicity on the Oxidation of Ferrocene‐Terminated Monolayers

open access: yesAdvanced Theory and Simulations, EarlyView.
Self‐assembled monolayers terminated with ferrocene moieties can be oxidized using an applied potential. At the oxidized layer, anions from the electrolyte can form a layer. Experiments show a relationship between the hydrophobicity of the anion species and the redox potential.

TVB C++: A Fast and Flexible Back‐End for The Virtual Brain

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
TVB C++ is a streamlined and fast C++ Back‐End for The Virtual Brain (TVB), designed to make it as flexible as TVB, and FAST. Another pillar is to be fully compatible with TVB so easy bindings can be created from Python. Users can easily configure TVB C++ to execute the same code but with enhanced performance and parallelism.
