A convergence theory for probabilistic metric spaces
Quaestiones Mathematicae, 2015We develop a theory of probabilistic convergence spaces based on Tardiff’s neighbourhood systems for probabilistic metric spaces. We show that the resulting category is a topological universe and we characterize a subcategory that is isomorphic to the category of probabilistic metric spaces. Keywords: Probabilistic metric space, probabilistic ...

Probabilistic uniform convergence spaces redefined
Acta Mathematica Hungarica, 2015Probabilistic uniform convergence spaces form a generalization of both uniform convergence spaces and probabilistic uniform spaces. In this paper the authors develop a theory of probabilistic uniform convergence spaces based on Tardiff's neighbourhood systems for probabilistic metric spaces. The generalization solves two problems.

Statistical convergence of triple sequences on probabilistic normed space [PDF]
The concept of statistical convergence was presented by Fast [7]. This concept was extended to the double sequences by Mursaleen and Edely [21]. In this paper, we dene statistical analogues of convergence and Cauchy for triple sequences on probabilistic normed space.

Categorical Properties of Probabilistic Convergence Spaces
Applied Categorical Structures, 1998It is proved that the category of probabilistic pretopological (or pseudotopological) spaces is the extensional topological hull (or cartesian-closed extensional topological hull, resp.) of the category \(F_T\)-diagonal probabilistic convergence spaces for any triangular norm \(T\).
