All‐in‐One Analog AI Hardware: On‐Chip Training and Inference with Conductive‐Metal‐Oxide/HfOx ReRAM Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

Fast‐Responding O2 Gas Sensor Based on Luminescent Europium Metal‐Organic Frameworks (MOF‐76)

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Luminescent MOF‐76 materials based on Eu(III) and mixed Eu(III)/Y(III) show rapid and reversible changes in emission intensity in response to O2 with very short response times. The effect is based on triplet quenching of the linker ligands that act as photosensitizers. Average emission lifetimes of a few milliseconds turn out to be mostly unaffected by

Affective Facial Expression Processing via Simulation: A Probabilistic Model

open access: yes, 2014
Understanding the mental state of other people is an important skill for intelligent agents and robots to operate within social environments. However, the mental processes involved in `mind-reading' are complex.

Modelling of the Electrolysers Cooling System for the Fluorine Production Operator Training Simulator

open access: yesChemical Engineering Transactions, 2018
Computer training is one of the most perspective training methods for chemical production operators. The key elements of any Operator Training Simulator (OTS) are models of technological processes and their control systems.

Dependability Analysis of Control Systems using SystemC and Statistical Model Checking [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Stochastic Petri nets are commonly used for modeling distributed systems in order to study their performance and dependability. This paper proposes a realization of stochastic Petri nets in SystemC for modeling large embedded control systems.

On‐Surface Indigo‐Based Bimolecular Coordination Networks with Programmable Regular or Vitreous Structure

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A previously unreported coordination motif stabilising single Fe atoms by indigo chelation and pyridyl coordination on Au(111) has been revealed. By using planar tritopic pyridyl linkers (TPyB), extended 2D porous networks of indigo3(TPyB)2Fe6 form. These networks can be crystalline or vitreous and offer an environment where individual coordination ...

An approach to forecast production profiles, oil-gas ratio and water contamination probabilistic assessment

open access: yesНаука. Инновации. Технологии
An approach to probabilistic assessment of field development forecast parameters for gas-condensate reservoir using multivariant simulation was studied. The necessity of such decision may be explained by the aim to level the influence of large number of

Risk measurement of international oil and gas projects based on the Value at Risk method

open access: yesPetroleum Science, 2018
International oil and gas projects feature high capital-intensity, high risks and contract diversity. Therefore, in order to help decision makers make more reasonable decisions under uncertainty, it is necessary to measure the risks of international oil ...
