Analysis on Probability Mass Function and Probability Density Function
Probability Mass Function (PMF) and Probability Density Function (PDF) are fundamental concepts in probability theory and statistics that play a crucial role in describing the probability distribution of random variables. This abstract provides a comprehensive overview of these concepts, highlighting their definitions, characteristics, and applications.

The Wave Function and Quantum Reality
We investigate the meaning of the wave function by analyzing the mass and charge density distribution of a quantum system. According to protective measurement, a charged quantum system has mass and charge density proportional to the modulus square of its

NF90–NF45 functions as a negative regulator of methyltransferase‐like 3/14 (METTL3/14)‐mediated N6‐methyladenosine (m6A) modification on primary microRNAs (pri‐miRNAs). NF90–NF45 binds to anti‐oncogenic pri‐miRNAs and inhibits their m6A modification, thereby suppressing the biogenesis of anti‐oncogenic miRNAs.

Poisson XRani Distribution: An Alternative Discrete Distribution for Overdispersed Count Data
In this article, a one-parameter probability mass function called Poisson XRani is proposed by combining the Poisson and the XRani distributions. A wide range of distributional properties such as the shape of the probability mass function, probability ...

We infer the local stellar-to-halo/subhalo mass relations (MRs) for central and satellite galaxies separately. We constraint this relations by using several combinations of observational data, consisting of the total galaxy stellar mass function, its ...

dUTPases are involved in balancing the appropriate nucleotide pools. We showed that dUTPase is essential for normal development in zebrafish. The different zebrafish genomes contain several single‐nucleotide variations (SNPs) of the dut gene. One of the dUTPase variants displayed drastically lower protein stability and catalytic efficiency as compared ...

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Horizon of quantum black holes in various dimensions
We adapt the horizon wave-function formalism to describe massive static spherically symmetric sources in a general (1+D)-dimensional space-time, for D>3 and including the D=1 case.
