Optimal control of stochastic partial differential equations in Banach spaces [PDF]
In this thesis we study optimal control problems in Banach spaces for stochastic partial differential equations. We investigate two different approaches.

On the completeness of the universal knowledge-belief space [PDF]
Meier (2008) shows that the universal knowledge-belief space exists. However, besides the universality there is an other important property might be imposed on knowledge-belief spaces, inherited also from type spaces, the completeness.

p-adic valued probability measures [PDF]
We develop an analogue of the theory of probability, where probabilities of events may belong to the fields of p-adic numbers Qp. As a basis, we use the Monna-Springer theory of integration with respect to non-Archimedean valued measures on zero ...

Resonant Domain Wall Dynamics in a Three‐Dimensional Magnetic Nano Double Helix
3D magnetic nanostructures promise exciting possibilities for magnetization dynamics. However, experimental realizations remain scarce. In nanoprinted cobalt double helices, time‐resolved X‐ray microscopy reveals harmonic domain wall dynamics. Simulations identify the mode and additional higher‐frequency resonances, revealing a rich dynamic landscape ...

Neutrosophic Sets and Systems [PDF]
Neutrosophic Sets and Systems has been created for publications on advanced studies in neutrosophy, neutrosophic set, neutrosophic logic, neutrosophic probability, neutrosophic statistics that started in 1995 and their applications in any field, such as ...

The topology of spaces of probability measures, I
For a Tychonoff space $X$, the constructions $\hat P(X)$ and $P_τ(X)$ of the spaces of probability Radon measures and probability $τ$-smooth measures on $X$ are considered. It is proved that these constructions determine functors in the category of Tychonoff spaces, which extend the functor $P$ of probability measures in the category of compacta.

Neutron Reflectometry and Compression of Graded Hydrogel Surfaces
Highly‐entangled and covalently‐crosslinked hydrogels with thin and thick surface gel layers are compressed in neutron reflectometry experiments. Surface gel layer thickness dictates the extent to which the polymer network at the surface of a hydrogel collapses, while crosslinking chemistry, and therefore elastic modulus, impacts the pressure at which ...

On projective limits of probability measures [PDF]
The present article describes the precise structure of the $L^{p}$-spaces of projective limit measures by introducing a category theoretical perspective.
