Advancing Process-Oriented Geographical Regionalization Model
Annals of the American Association of GeographersExisting regionalization methods have largely overlooked the temporal dimension, leading to outcomes that predominantly reflect spatial differentiation of regional variables only at a singular temporal instance, rather than across their entire ...

A Process-oriented Approach To Configuration Management
11th International Conference on Software Engineering, 1989We present a framework integrating concepts from con- figuration management and process management. A language, interpretable by the environment, is proposed in order to specify the development process of versions and configurations. Two structuring mechanisms are provided: a class-subclass hierarchy and a task-subtask hierarchy.

On the Transferability of Process-Oriented Cases
2016This paper studies the feasibility of using transfer learning for process-oriented case-based reasoning. The work introduces a novel approach to transfer workflow cases from a loosely related source domain to a target domain. The idea is to develop a representation mapper based on workflow generalization, workflow abstraction, and structural analogy ...

Process-oriented software education
IEEE Software, 1994In the last few years, development organizations have come to recognize that software development has moved beyond the capabilities of individual programmers and is now an engineering activity performed by teams, and the quality of a software product is highly dependent on the quality of the process used to develop it.

The International Journal of Logistics Management, 2009
PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to empirically develop a valid measurement scale for process orientation – a critical supply chain management (SCM) concept that warrants greater study.Design/methodology/approachThis study follows the measurement development approach proposed by Churchill. Data are collected from China.

Outcome-Oriented Predictive Process Monitoring
ACM Transactions on Knowledge Discovery from Data, 2017Predictive business process monitoring refers to the act of making predictions about the future state of ongoing cases of a business process, based on their incomplete execution traces and logs of historical (completed) traces.

Teaching and Teacher Education : An International Journal of Research and Studies, 2017
In this article, we present a new model of teachers' assessment competence. The model is based on the educational competence concept, thus defining competences to be context-specific, learnable cognitive dispositions that are needed to successfully cope ...

Proceedings of the 1988 ACM SIGPLAN workshop on Object-based concurrent programming -, 1988
This paper argues that co-routines are related to concurrent processes. By adding interrupt mechanisms languages containing co-routine mechanisms can be used for concurrency. It is also the intention to bring some of the terminology used in Simula constructs to the attention of others dealing with concurrency in object oriented languages.

There has recently been considerable debate over whether rational norms place constraints only on our beliefs and other attitudes at individual times, or whether they also, or instead, place constraints on the relationship between our attitudes at different times.
