Capability-analysis of co-simulation approaches for process industries
Proceedings of the 2014 IEEE Emerging Technology and Factory Automation (ETFA), 2014Today simulation is playing an important role at multiple steps within the life-cycle of a process plant. For the future it is expected that simulation will be integrated in the plant life-cycle and the backbone of an integrated engineering process. To simulate the different aspects of a plant multiple domains are necessary.

Process capability analysis in the presence of autocorrelation
Quality and Reliability Engineering International, 2002AbstractProcess capability analysis when observations are autocorrelated is addressed using time series modelling and regression analysis. Through the use of a numerical example, it is shown that the variance estimate obtained from the original data is no longer an appropriate estimate to be considered for conducting process capability analyses ...

On process capability analysis under fuzzy normal distribution
2008 3rd International Conference on Intelligent System and Knowledge Engineering, 2008Process capability indices (PCIs) are very useful statistics to summarize process? distribution and width. They are one of the results of process capability analysis. This analysis is based on normal distribution approximation which is used to calculate the probability of the process to produce between and out of specification limits.

Autocorrelation's Effect on Process Capability Analysis
Asian Journal on Quality, 2009The deviation of process output is usually estimated through the range or deviation of the sub‐samples in the calculation of process capability indices (PCI) in quality management. There are autocorrelation between the adjacent data in many practical process outputs. But this influence on PCI is not considered in process capability analysis.

An Analysis of the Alliance Capability Development Process
2008Having empirically examined the impact of intra-firm mechanisms on alliance performance in Chapter 4, we found evidence for the fact that mechanisms help develop alliance capabilities as they positively influence the ability to manage alliances. This enhances our micro-level understanding of the impact of these mechanisms.

Capability analysis for Leagile manufacturing processes
Proceedings of the 14th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC), 2013In today's global market, there is constantly increasing pressure to do products more quickly, with more variety, at the lowest possible cost. To support further improving of the companies competitive advantage, combined systems such as Leagile manufacturing have been developed.

Statistical analysis and process capability determination of an industrial process
Conference Record of the 2000 IEEE Industry Applications Conference. Thirty-Fifth IAS Annual Meeting and World Conference on Industrial Applications of Electrical Energy (Cat. No.00CH37129), 2002Quality means suitability for use and it is inversely proportional to variability of product, service, people, processes, and environment. However, it is the dynamic state that is associated with each of the above and that meets or exceeds expectations of a customer. Quality improvement is therefore the progressive reduction of variability. The gradual
