Evalaution and optimization of laser cutting parameters for plywood materials [PDF]
Laser process parameters influence greatly the width of kerfs and quality of the cut edges. This article reports experiments on the laser plywood-cutting performance of a CW 1.5 kW CO2¬ Rofin laser, based on design of experiments (DOE).

Summary of deliverable D2.3. After the studies conducted at CNRS, the optimised composition was selected by the consortium for the HyCARE project, owing to its easy activation, good thermodynamics, kinetics, high reversible capacity at 55 °C and good cycling performances, as shown in Deliverable 2.2.

Effect of process parameters and optimization of CO2 laser cutting of ultra high performance polyethylene [PDF]
The aim of this work is to relate the cutting edge quality parameters (responses) namely: upper kerf, lower kerf, ratio of the upper kerf to lower kerf and cut edge roughness to the process parameters considered in this research and to find out the ...

Relationships between LRI process parameters and impact and post-impact behaviour of stitched and unstitched NCF laminates [PDF]
The general context of the development of out-of-autoclave processes in the aeronautics industry raises the question of the possible links between these new processes and impact behaviour. In this study, a Taguchi table was used in a design of experiment

Critical review of supercritical fluid extraction of selected spice plant materials
Supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) is one of the relatively new efficient separation method for the extraction of essential oils from different plant materials. The new products, extracts, can be used as a good base for the production of pharmaceutical

Parameter estimation in Manneville–Pomeau processes
In this work we study a class of stochastic processes $\{X_t\}_{t\in\N}$, where $X_t = (ϕ\circ T_s^t)(X_0)$ is obtained from the iterations of the transformation T_s, invariant for an ergodic probability μ_s on [0,1] and a continuous by part function $ϕ:[0,1] \to \R$. We consider here $T_s:[0,1]\to [0,1]$ the Manneville-Pomeau transformation.
